The flat cycle ways and pretty canals of Holland offer some of the most
enchanting and safe cycling opportunities in Europe. Aboard your hotel
barge and in the company of other families, visit castles as you cycle
through the Dutch riverlands. During the day there is plenty of opportunity
to visit interesting towns such as the famous cheese town of Gouda, take
advantage of local family friendly attractions such as Dutch golf and view
the 19 windmills of Kinderdijk. Specially designed for kids from 7 to 11 years
old, the pace is relaxed ensuring that all members of the family are able to
fully participate in the days cycle.

Experience the quintessential Dutch sights by barge and
bike
On this short bike and barge holiday you will experience the highlights of
springtime in Holland with excursions to the quintessential Dutch sights.
Leaving Amsterdam we travel by barge to Spaarndam and the village of
Hans Brinker where we take a short cycle trip to Haarlem. We visit the Flower
Park Keukenhof, where we are welcomed by thousands of tulips, daffodils
and hyacinths. Cycling through the blooming bulb fields we reach Leiden. As
we continue on our bikes we will also visit a traditional Dutch windmill and
a cheese farm where we take a tour to learn the process of cheese making
and taste the final goods. On our last day we visit the world's biggest Flower
Auction in Aalsmeer before boarding our barge back to Amsterdam.
