Discover the natural wonders of the fjord, fell and
moorlands of Western Norway
This multifaceted trip dishes up a heady mixture of highland walks of
varying levels of difficulty through magnificent Norwegian landscapes
carved by ice. At Sognefjord, the longest fjord in the world, you'll
travel right up to the edges of the retreated glacier. The lush pastoral
settings of the Flam and Aurland valley will delight you with their forests,
dreamy waterfalls and traditional churches. The series of walks from
conveniently located accommodations are nothing short of spectacular
with options to surround yourself with peaks and glaciers or more gentle

Cycle the spectacular Hardangerfjord with a moving visual
panorama of the fjord, mountains and glaciers as you
pedal
At 179km in length, Norway's magnificent Hardangerfjord is the world's
third longest. With inspiring views all around of mountains and tumbling
glaciers, this special part of Norway really is a treat for the senses and the
best way to soak in the beauty is to explore it by bike at your own pace.
This delightful ride begins and ends in the city of Bergen. While the main
attraction is the fjord, the cycle route travels past farms producing berries,
apples, plums and cherries which bring the region to life with colour during
the spring blossom. As you would expect, fruit stalls appear along the way,
tempting you as you cycle to stop and taste the fruits of the region. Beyond
the countryside the small towns have their own particular charms while
taking a break from cycling as you pass along some of the route by ferry
offers a completely different perspective on the ever changing alpine views.
At night stay in a selection of charming handpicked hotels where your hosts
will offer a range of tasty meals and add an extra dimension to this already
highlight packed ride.
