An island hopping cycle adventure along Croatia's magical
Dalmatian coast
The Dalmatian Coast is one of the true wonders of Europe with arguably the
clearest waters in the Mediterranean, as well as the plethora of historic and
cultural interests. Experiencing this special region by bike is by far the most
rewarding way to travel. From your arrival in Split until just before Dubrovnik,
your journey will encounter the beautiful islands of Brac, Hvar and Korcula,
traveling by bike and ferry. The scenery alternates between seaside villages,
tiny medieval walled towns and lovely quiet pebbled bays, set against a
backdrop of pine forests and mountains. Your final leg takes you to the red
roofs of Dubrovnik, the proud port city that once rivaled Venice in wealth
and influence.
ITINERARY: DAY 1 |
Arrive Split, transfer to Sutivan on the island of Brac

Ascend Vidova Gora (778m) the highest peak on the Croatian islands,
and return to Supetar (45km)

By boat to the island of Hvar, overnight

Cycle to Hvar town (40km)

Cycle north to Jelsa famous for
its red wines (15km)

Cycle to the port of Sucuraj, then by boat to Korcula

Circuit through the forest taking in isolated beaches (5-15km)

A multi activity adventure for the family exploring the
Croatian coast and islands
Explore the stunning islands and coastline of southern Dalmatia on board
a charming boat, with overnights in scenic ports and quiet bays. Each day
brings a new island to discover either by bike or on foot or even by raft. There
is always the option to remain on board, relax and take a swim or wander
the streets of historic harbour towns. In the company of your guide and crew
the activities are specifically geared towards the whole family ensuring that
the experience is both informative and interactive with the right amount of
walking or cycling. Through stories and legends the guide will help to bring
to life the country’s cultural and natural treasures whilst also touching on
Croatia’s eventful history.
