Stay in carefully selected accommodations that compliment
the style of your trip and provide even more local charm and
opportunities for genuine cultural insights. Most are run by
local families and provide breakfasts and dinners, so expect
a healthy dose of regional hospitality and flavours. Our range
of accommodations include:
Bikes | Mens and ladies bikes are commonly
available and vary between 7 & 24 speed with handbrakes.
Certain trips offer electric bike hire and many trips have
children’s bikes, trail-a-bikes and trailers for smaller
children. In general you can expect bikes to include:
> Panniers > Water bottle holders > A lock > Repair kit
> Map holders > Anti-theft devices > Helmets can be supplied
Well maintained bikes – built for comfort, not speed – are
included in the tour cost on all UTracks cycling trips. Sherpa
Expeditions cycling tours do not include bike rental and are
available for hire for a supplement. Our trip notes will provide
the exact bike inclusions for your chosen tour.

Self guided trips do require that you are comfortable with
map reading, referring to route notes and that you have a
good sense of direction. For added safety we also supply you
or your self guided group with:
> Maps > Map holder (walking trips only) > Detailed walking
or cycling directions (updated regularly) > Hotel contact
information > Guidebook on selected trips >7 day service

Many of the routes are also clearly way-marked.
