Discover one of the most beautiful stretches of Mediterranean coastline on
board a traditional gulet. Your adventure begins at the foot of Mount Vesuvius
with a fascinating visit to the buried city of Pompeii. Continue to the town
of Sorrento and the many Amalfi Coast villages embedded in the mountains
overlooking the sea. Visit Positano, Amalfi and Ravello, characterised by art
and tradition, and surrounded by terraced hillsides of vineyards, citrus and
olive groves. Hike on Capri, which has enchanted travellers since Roman
times with its natural beauty. Back on the boat between walks, savour the
delicious local cuisine and relax on the sunny upper deck.

NOTES: On 3 of the nights the gulet will be docked in the port. On the other
4 nights the gulet will be anchored in roadstead (an enclosed area outside the
harbour offering shelter from the winds and currents). In the unlikely event of
unfavourable sea conditions, the gulet will return to port where passengers will
be asked to pay the relevant price to stay in the port. The amount can vary from
port to port, between EUR20‑50, and is to be divided amongst passengers &
paid locally.

A walking trip to explore Pompeii, Herculaneum, Mt
Vesuvius, the island of Capri and the stunning Amalfi Coast
There are few trips which take in such a diverse combination of highlights.
From the spectacular Amalfi coast to the fascinating ruins of Pompeii and
Herculaneum, to the historic centre of Naples and the beautiful island of
Capri, this walking trip offers the very best of this captivating region. From
your base in Naples you visit the island of Capri and the ruins of Pompeii and
Herculaneum before the next stage of the trip. After ascending to the crater
of Mt Vesuvius, a private transfer takes you to the small town of Agerola
perched high above the sea. Surrounded by forests and with sweeping
views of the Mediterranean, Agerola is a perfect base to explore the Amalfi
Coast on foot. Day walks along a series of ancient footpaths lead you to the
stunning bougainvillea covered town of Positano, past terraced vineyards
to the timeless villages of Ravello and Pogerola. In between walks, relax to
enjoy fine hospitality, a dip in the sea and delicious local cuisine.

foot (3hrs), return to Naples 3 | Explore Pompeii and Naples 4 | Explore
Herculaneum , transfer to Mt Vesuvius and walk to the crater, continue to
Agerola (2hrs) 5 | Traverse the Lattari Mountains (5hrs) 6 | Walk to Ravello
